Lunch is Back!

Our dining room is meant to be a space full of memories, laughter and moments for friends and family to come together over a meal.

We have seen some of your children learn to tie their shoes for the first time in one of our booths, been a part of surprise engagements, witnessed reunions of family members who have not seen each other in over 10 years, and so many other monumental moments in all of your lives.

Truly, this is what makes us so extremely grateful & fulfilled every single day. After reopening back in July of 2020, it was the smartest decision to continue dinner service, but lunch had to be put on hold.

Now, after almost two full years, the whole team is so excited to announce that The Fine Foods Café will officially be back in the lunch game!

Starting TODAY, Wednesday, January 19th, our dining room will open at 11:30 for lunch service featuring many classics from our original luncheon menu, plus some fun and exciting new items from the test kitchen.

The updated kitchen hours for the fine foods café will be:

Lunch service: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday from 11:30-2:00.

Brunch service: Sunday 9:30-2:00.

Dinner service:
Tuesday pub night 4:00-9:00
Full dinner menu Wednesday – Saturday 4:00-9:00

Knowing that the dining room will once again be filled with daytime chatter, laughter and good friends coming together brings us more joy than we can express.

Thank you all for your patience, for your support, for your loyalty, and truly just for being a part of our extended family.

With so much love & gratitude,

Andrew & the team at M&D

Rebecca McKinney

I was born a foodie. My dad is a chef, baker, and restaurant owner and my mom might as well be because she owns whatever kitchen she walks into. I grew up working in my family’s restaurant and bakery in Pawling, New York – McKinney and Doyle. I started behind the bakery counter at 12 years old after begging my parents to let me start working. At 16 I worked as a hostess. By 18 I was serving tables and training behind the bar where I then worked every other weekend throughout my college career. Even now, when I am visiting my family in New York, I help out where I’m needed. To make a long story short, the food and restaurant industry has been my life for as long as I can remember.

I wanted to create this blog for a few reasons. First and foremost, to share tips, tricks, and knowledge about the food and beverage industry in general but also to help people see a different side of the restaurant world. Every restaurant has a totally unique culture and world within it. I want to help open people’s eyes to more than how fast the service is or how easy or hard it is to secure a reservation.

So, thanks for stopping by! I welcome your ideas, input, and feedback and hope you enjoy!

Eat well & travel often,

Becky McKinney
